Anonymous Content Forms Strategic Alliance with Online Video Community Sharkle.com
Los Angeles (January 4, 2005) – In its efforts to become the premier online video community, Sharkle.com has teamed up with production and management company Anonymous Content to provide original content to the site.
As an online video community, Sharkle.com provides a forum for members to share videos and comment on other’s uploaded content, combining the best of online community sites with the emergence of video sharing and consumer generated content. Users may upload their favorite videos or their created home videos for other users of the site to comment.
As one of the foremost developers of advertisements, Anonymous Content directors have created such advertising spots as the Starbucks ad with Canadian vocalist Michael Bublé and the Super Bowl Heineken spot with Brad Pitt, among others. The company’s strategic alliance with Sharkle.com will provide Anonymous Content an opportunity to create, service and access fresh and innovative content using their managed talent.
Since Sharkle’s soft launch in late September 2005, the website has seen exponential growth as it has developed a unique blend of partnerships with leading content aggregators and online sites. “Our users are spending an average of 25 minutes per visit and watching more than four videos per visit. They are also referring people to the site to get them to join and share their videos,” says Trevor Wright, Sharkle’s president. “With the increase in interest and membership, the site hopes to draw greater attention with its newly formed alliance with Anonymous Content.”
For this strategic alliance, Michael Sugar along with Garrett Brodie will be working with Sharkle.com on behalf of Anonymous Content. The alliance allows Anonymous to create, provide and access new content through Sharkle.com from their multimedia assets and from the talent management division with a roster of talented commercial directors. This will provide new content to Sharkle.com’s platform of advertising. In turn, Sharkle.com’s online community of home videographers may also provide insight for up-and-coming talent for Anonymous Content.
